McGrath State Campground is located at the beach. The entrance to the campground is along the bike course for the Breath of Life Ventura Triathlon/Relay, less than 4 miles from the transition area at San Buenaventura State Beach.

Directions:
From Santa Barbara:
    Take 101 freeway southbound.
    Exit Seaward Avenue.
    Left on Harbor Boulevard.
    Continue on Harbor Boulevard for 6.69 miles.
From Los Angeles:
    Take 101 freeway northbound.
    Exit Victoria Avenue.
    Left on Victoria Avenue.
    Turn slight right onto Olivas Park Drive.
    Turn left onto E. Harbor Boulevard for 4.73 miles.

Emma Wood State Beach Campground is located at the beach approximately 3.4 miles from the Breath of Life Ventura Triathlon/Relay transition area at San Buenaventura State Beach.

Directions:
From Santa Barbara:
    Take 101 freeway southbound.
    Exit Main Street towards Ventura.
    Turn right onto W. Main Street.
    On Main Street for less than one-tenth of a mile.
From Los Angeles:
    Take 101 freeway northbound.
    Exit California Street.
    Right on California Street.
    Turn left onto East Main Street.
    On Main Street for 1.2 miles.

Reservations:
Emma Wood State Beach Campground accepts reservations only for groups of 8 or more at $40.00 per campsite. Individual campsites are available on a first come first serve basis only at $16.00 per site. People should therefore plan on getting there early Friday to get a spot before the campground fills up for the weekend.
